Coming home to oneself through love and acceptance, navigating the ups and downs of life from a wiser place.

Borntorpet, Sweden
From Flow to Stillness
Welcome to a 4 day retreat of yoga, meditation, silence and workshops of Buddhist philosophy combined with psychotherapeutic concepts and non-violent communication techniques.
This retreat has several focuses:
Breathing
How to breathe to calm the nervous system, thus remaining calm, more resilient and less emotionally reactive in daily life.
Psychotherapeutic Concepts
We will take a deeper look at the layers of self to understand our different behaviours better and to look at the different personality structures that we have built. Once we have a deeper understanding it is much easier to integrate these parts/behaviours compassionately for a greater feeling of wholeness.
Buddhist Philosophy and meditation:
We will use mindfulness practices to help us find that place of rest amidst the inevitable ups and downs of everyday life.
Yoga
We will use Tantric and Daoist yogic techniques that work with the energy body and there will be classes of vinyasa and yin.
Non-Violent Communication
We will use techniques from this wonderful form of communication that can help us feel into our needs and the needs of others too, to make communication easier and life richer. These are truly amazing tools to have in any day to day relating.
Silence
There will be Silence from Friday morning until Saturday evening. This is a chance to really take a deeper look inside, to slow down and become more intimate with oneself.
There will be a talk before about the power of silence and some of the challenges one might face during this period. Please know, we will still be talking in the workshops in pair exercises and that I am available during this period if you are struggling and need to talk to me.
The workshops will be taught in English. All levels are welcome, no experience of yoga or meditation are required.

The retreat will be held at Borntorpet Shambala Gatherings, located in the forests of Bergslagen around Skinnskatteberg. Except of joining the yoga classes and workshops you will also encounter the Shambala community who, with open arms, receives and serves the guests with a heart-warming and homely family atmosphere. The food is vegan, gluten free, inspired by Ayurveda and locally produced vegetables and honey.
Very welcome to make your reservation to the retreat to urtruenature@gmail.com
